We are excited to announce the schools that will be represented on the cover of the very first issue of Varsity Preview Magazine. The magazine plans to place athletes on the cover of each issue of the magazine which is launching its first issue in September 2021. The athletes will be chosen from the two programs that advance the furthest in the playoffs each year.
This first issue will spotlight the state champion Jim Ned Indians on the football side, and the Cooper Cougars for volleyball. Cooper made it to the regional quarterfinals in 2020.
“Shining a positive light on the schools in our area and previewing their seasons has been something we’ve been excited about for a while”, said Becky Frost, publisher.
“Giving these kids the opportunity to shine playing the games they love and giving their parents a quality publication to hang on to for years to come. There’s a lot to look forward to.”
Competitive Advantage is designed to provide a positive preview of high school’s teams prior to their upcoming seasons. Both football and volleyball will be featured in the issue of the magazine that hits mailboxes September 1st.
